CYBERHAND FEATURES & CONSTRUCTION
CYBERHAND directional actions.
Consisting of two arch-shaped sets of keys.
The first set is 5 keys.
-L- Left Arrow ......Move object to the left.
-U- Up Arrow.........Move object up.
-F- Function keys....In games this could be a fire key. It could also be programmer designed.
-D- Down Arrow.......Move object down.
-R- Right Arrow......Move object right.
Note: These keys are 100% compatible with the standard joystick input format.
The second set is 3 keys.
-I- In Arrow.........Move into plane.
-F2-.................Second function key.
-O- Out Arrow........Move out of plane

Special Robotic Control Functions
LR - Open claw
UP - Close claw
IO - Rotate claw
Other functions can be obtained by combining L,R,U,D,I,O with the F function keys.
Keys ledge:
A ledge surrounding the keys has been added. This will protect against small objects getting under the keys and causing malfunctions.
Key positioning:
The keys are positioned in a horseshoe manner (as defined in patent keys are in arcual rows)
so as to be easily within reach of most sizes of hands.
The outside row consisting of five keys extended farther.
The keys at the extreme right and left are elongated so the unit
is suitable for both right and left hands.
The palm support:
The palm support is wedge shaped to permit comfortable operation for extended periods of time. The high are of the wedge will support the bridge of the palm allowing the fingers to move easily. It is also vertically adjustable which permits compatibility with different size fingers lengths.
30 - Groove which allows adjustment.
32 - Fastener to stabilize the support after desired position has been chosen.
Controller Base:
The base has been designed in a sturdy manner with a futuristic look. Four legs with no-slip grip ensure minimal movement during operation. At the front of the controller an elevated ridge can display a logo.
17 - legs
17 - no-slip grips
15 - place for logo
12 - controller base
Controller ports:
These connects the controller to any device that one wishes to control. See front view drawing. Our joystick/keyboard port can be used to transmit the closing of circuit application as in game key-pressing functions.
Circuit board and cover:
Circuit board and cover:
An internal printed circuit board allows the completion of a circuit. When a key is pressed, that signal will travel along the etched lines to the controller port. It will then be the responsibility of the receiving hardware to interpret the signal. The signal will be joystick compatible. Therefore any software that uses the joystick can also use this controller.
All keys with exception of the f2 key will produce a voltage greater than zero
(+5V GND -5V on its etched lines). The cyberhand circuit board will support USB, Mouse Serial, keyboard and games port.
Materials:
1 - Base, keys, palm support and circuit board cover will be plastic.
2 - Port will be metal.
3 - Circuit board will be the normal laminated with etched Circuit paths.
4 - Switches will be two contact circuits. (Pre-made)
5 - Multiple ports for USB, Mouse Serial, keyboard and games port will be on cyberhand.
